It's that special weekend of the month when group members can pick up Ikon's latest gift.  Mesa, January's offering, has a clear, luminous intensity that is unparalleled.  The group is free to join, but this month's free eyes will be available for just a few days, so don't put off your visit.

While browsing the Marketplace, I came across Eve White Lace, this flirty lace corset with airy, romantic flexi sleeves.  Now, since it's January and rather nippy outside, I was glad to don the jewel-tone shrug in an emerald shade which is included.  The package offers sweaters in a rich, purple tone and a pink shade in addition to the green, as well as lace pants, coordinating earrings and brooches, which I opted not to show.  Instead, I chose to wear casual white capris from Jeanne Moulliez's Aqua Halter and White Capris, a sweet Marketplace freebie.   My silver and diamond necklace from Mistwood Jewels provides the perfect, budget-friendly accessory for only one linden.

Mystical Lyala

At TDR Fusion, I discovered a mystical side of myself in Lyala, a lovely skin from Al Vulo.  It features a luminous, sun-kissed tone with a delightful sprinkling of freckles and is adorned with soft pink lips and eyeshadow.  This skin package also includes the doll lashes and mesh lashes I have combined here, as well as mystical eyes, tango appliers and dark and red brows which I am not showing.  Gazing out from under the Al Vulo lashes are Ikon's Eternal Eyes in Blue.  Falling sleekly to my shoulders and beyond is Steph II from Alice Project.  This infinity hair style comes with a dye HUD so you can customize the tint of the hair.  I had never seen hair from Alice Project before the Advent season gifts, which, by the way are still available to pick up for a nominal price, and I am just in love with the quality of the hair!

 I wanted to include this shot so you could clearly see my silver heart choker, which is a gift for Gossamer Jewellery members.  The group is free to join, and if you check the notices, you will find this necklace in additional short, medium and long lengths.

Coordinating perfectly with the soft pinks and sun-kissed hues of Layla is Kitja Cherie's white mesh top and jeans.  A bargain at only 25L, this outfit features a softly draping, sleeveless mesh top and pale blue jeans.  Ivory colored boots from Decoy completed my look.  These boots were an old freebie that I got my first year on SL.  Decoy has a VIP group with special gifts and offers to VIP members.  I am not sure if these boots are still available.

Ginevra

Ginevra is the stunning New Year's gift for VIP members of Izzie's.  With pink lips, a rosy-cheeked complexion and delicate eyeshadow, she is certain to become a favorite of mine.  Here, the only added touch are Mysteria mesh lashes from Gaeline Cosmetics to frame my Eternal Eyes in Storm from Ikon.  Although these eyes are not free, I wanted to remind you that it's almost time for the monthly gift eyes from Ikon, which are available the first weekend of the month to group members.   The Ikon group is free to join, and I am always thrilled by the quality and shimmer in the gorgeous eyes.  My blonde tresses are called Caramel from Elikatira, and happen to be one of my most worn styles.

Evale is offering this bold, chocolate and navy striped mesh cardigan, belt, mesh jeans and winter boots on the Marketplace for only 99L.  Aren't the pom-poms on the boots fun?  I love the way the warm colors complement the ivory tone of Ginevra.  Under the sweater, I am wearing one of my wardrobe staples, an Intrinsic Tank from Jane, in charcoal.  These tanks are free, come in a ton of colors, and frequently find their way into the images on Kat's Korner.

Can I Keep Him?

While out and about exploring, I found this adorable little guy, and wanted very much to bring him home.  Sigh, but the answer was, "Errrrrrr.....exactly how huge is he?"  Sadly, I had to leave the cub with a kiss on the nose and a fishy snack, but I did get to bring home this sweet outfit.  At only 25L, it was an affordable addition that will easily fit into any closet.  Winter Day's Outfit (Grey) is currently available from Faded Ink on the Marketplace, and includes the sweater, scarf, dark jeans and boots above as well as a sweater dress that I chose not to show.  My shoulder-length Argrace hair falls in soft waves from under the tintable beanie.  My skin, lashes and eyes have all been blogged previously.

Kate, the newest group gift from Belleza, will definitely make you feel classy and fabulous.  Shimmering red lips and subtle eye make up allow a natural beauty to shine through.  Here, the only touches I have added to my gorgeous Eternal Eyes in Storm from Ikon are Miss Vanity Eye Shadow in soft brown from Mock Cosmetics and Mysteria mesh lashes from Gaeline Cosmetics.  My hair is actually a combination of two styles from Catwa.  Wispy bangs from Rosa softly frame my face and espresso tresses from Razan cascade to my shoulders. 

Chic, elegant, and a steal at only 60L, this floor-length, long sleeved gown from Neus Magic Designs contributes to the classic appeal of this look.  A fringed scarf from Miel softly draped around my neck and shoulders adds the finishing touch. This versatile, color-change shawl is not inexpensive, however, after wearing a free skin and spending only 60L on my dress, I had plenty of spare lindens to splurge.

With the frosty winter air, it's time to warm things up a bit.  This lovely gown called Karen from Elegant Fashion is 99L on the Marketplace right now.  My hair is a holiday gift from Lelutka called Vent.  The group is free to join and Vent comes in a variety of colors.  Mock Cosmetics recently sent out some holiday gifts to group members as well.  My shimmering lips are called Micare Glimmer in Russian Red.  They are not in the group notices any longer, but when I checked, a box called Red Holiday, packed full of red hued lips and blushes, is still available for members.  The group is not free to join, but gifts are frequent and generous from Mockie.  I've also worn two other make up layers from Mock Cosmetics.  My eyes are lined with Honoriable eyeliner in black followed by Miss Vanity Eyeshadow with lashes in neutra.  Mysteria mesh lashes from Gaeline Cosmetics provided the finishing touch for my make up.
