After many attempts, I finally made it in to The Arcade, and I'm soooo glad I persisted.  My first try at Truth Hair's gacha netted Video Games in Light Brown Fade.  It has an optional Orchids hair piece which I am not wearing for this shot.  I love the curling waves in this hair that drape over the left shoulder.  Over my Polly skin from Al Vulo, I am wearing a gift from Mock Cosmetics called Ginger Chocolate Make Over, as well as tattoo layer lashes from Mozz Cosmetics.  Deep Antique Horizon Eyes from IKON seem to glow from withing.  This weekend, after joining IKON's VIP group (which is free), you can scoop up the group gift eyes, which I will blog soon.  In my opinion, eyes from IKON are the best in SL,  and it's such a treat to receive free eyes every month.  Leaving my shoulders bare, I slipped on this Lina Scrunchy Bustier in Cream from .:vive nine:.  The soft pink color is so flattering, and at 100L, it didn't break the budget.

Ravishing

I stopped by Sassy! to tap the midnight mania board there, and it must have been my lucky day, because I immediately spotted the icon for the Mon Amour Hunt.  Not missing a beat, I purchased the prize for 0L, moseyed over to tap the mania board, and then scurried home to check out my find.  Now, Simply Ravishing is meant to be a sexy little mini, but I chose to dress it down with a pair of dark gray Larry Jeans and my favorite gray Porter Denim jacket from {mon tissu}.  I think you'll like the look as much as I do.  At Collabor88, you can scoop up this delightful Moon Vine Lover's Heart Necklace from Maxi Gossamer as well as the side-swept pony tail hairdo from Truth called Hollana, shown here in toast from the fades pack.  Truth Hair fades packs are usually 300L, so when I saw that this hair was only 88L..... oh my (fans self)!!!  I think this shade of Hollana matches well with my Polly skin from al vulo in cacoa.  I swept on Honoriable Eyeliner in black from Mock Cosmetics, and added tattoo layer lashes from Mozz Cosmetics.  My eyes are Horizon Eyes in Deep Antique from Ikon.

In my ruby red Elora II Fantasy Gown from Evie's Closet and Alyss, the new gift from Al Vulo, I certainly feel like a magical fairy.  Complete with lightly speckled wings and a floral vine arm band and necklace, Elora comes in two lengths.  I opted not to wear the ruffled trim on the gown.  I picked up my hair at the fantastic Retirement sale at Elikatira.  All styles are 70% off from now until February 23rd! Only, an updo with softly falling tendrils, has a color-change ribbon.  The close up below clearly shows the beauty of Alyss and the sparkling intrigue of my Horizon Eyes in Deep Antique from Ikon. 

Eden Fairy, Autumn Edition, is also free at Evie's Closet.  With beautifully detailed, scrolled wings, a sparkling skirt, leaf-trimmed leggings, jauntily perched hat and flats with an adorable criss-crossed detail, you will instantly transform into a woodland fairy.  In this photo, I switched to Caramel, another sale-priced hairstyle available at Elikatira.  My pose is a new release from Diesel Works called Fairy 4.

Wintery Jinelle

When Josey woke up and saw the feathery frost on her windowpane, she smiled. Finally, it was cold enough to wear long coats and tights. Perfect for a winter day and for only 60L this weekend, you can scoop up this warm woolen long sleeve dress in a variety of plaid textures.  Although it covers your arms to keep you snugly warm, Jinelle, shown here in gray multi, leaves plenty of sexy legs showing.  I love the added touch of the low riding black belt.

Mystical Lyala

At TDR Fusion, I discovered a mystical side of myself in Lyala, a lovely skin from Al Vulo.  It features a luminous, sun-kissed tone with a delightful sprinkling of freckles and is adorned with soft pink lips and eyeshadow.  This skin package also includes the doll lashes and mesh lashes I have combined here, as well as mystical eyes, tango appliers and dark and red brows which I am not showing.  Gazing out from under the Al Vulo lashes are Ikon's Eternal Eyes in Blue.  Falling sleekly to my shoulders and beyond is Steph II from Alice Project.  This infinity hair style comes with a dye HUD so you can customize the tint of the hair.  I had never seen hair from Alice Project before the Advent season gifts, which, by the way are still available to pick up for a nominal price, and I am just in love with the quality of the hair!

 I wanted to include this shot so you could clearly see my silver heart choker, which is a gift for Gossamer Jewellery members.  The group is free to join, and if you check the notices, you will find this necklace in additional short, medium and long lengths.

Coordinating perfectly with the soft pinks and sun-kissed hues of Layla is Kitja Cherie's white mesh top and jeans.  A bargain at only 25L, this outfit features a softly draping, sleeveless mesh top and pale blue jeans.  Ivory colored boots from Decoy completed my look.  These boots were an old freebie that I got my first year on SL.  Decoy has a VIP group with special gifts and offers to VIP members.  I am not sure if these boots are still available.

I hope those of my readers who reside in the United States had a joyous Thanksgiving holiday.  I am grateful for all of the blessings I have in my life and for the time spent today and every day with family and friends. 

This bohemian style dress, called 1968 is part of Fifty5 Thursdays this week.  I wasn't going to blog it, but I had several compliments on it, so I decided to do a quick post.  Although it may be too late for you to get these items for 55L, you can bookmark the Fifty5 Thursdays website and see what they have to offer next Thursday.  I love the large patchwork squares and the retro prints of the fabric in this dress and the way it sweeps all the way down to my toes.  The blue necklace and earrings which I am not wearing are included with 1968.  My shape, Chelsey, is also from Fifty5 Thursdays, and the great news is it comes with a modify version!  To go along with the sixties feel of this outfit, I wanted a long, braided hair and Interrupt from elikatira was the perfect style for the look!  I am wearing Polly in cacao from Al Vulo and Ikon Horizon Eyes v2 in Caramel.  Tattoo layer lashes from Mozz Cosmetics are my only make up addition.

BoHo Beauty

I received this gorgeous purple crochet vest in the BoHo HoBo gift bag and love, love, love it!  Here, I paired it with an Intrinsic Tank from Jane in Eggplant.  After falling in love with this vest, I decided to journey on over the the BoHo Culture Fair,  I fought the lag there and discovered some fantastic bargains!  There are so many wonderful items available at the BHCF.  Here, I'm wearing the Victoria Necklace and Earrings from Mustang Trading Post.  The purple in the jewelery really goes well with the top and crochet vest.  I love how the necklace adds just the right amount of color to contrast with the violet hues of the top and vest.  My skin is Polly from Al Vulo and I've chosen to dress up the lips with another group gift....this one from Mock Cosmetics:  Crema LipColor in Light Rose.  Also from Mock Cosmetics,the Honoriable Eyeliner in black, sets off my Sunrise Eyes in Deep Green from Fashism (now known as Ikon).  In this picture, my tattoo layer lashes from Mozz and Blake hair from Truth complete the look.

Strolling in the Snow

I've been strolling in the snow in my new Rive Droit jacket from MEB at the Mimi's Choice sim (0L).  Under the jacket, I am wearing a milk-colored Intrinsic tank from Jane (0L).  The jacket is the perfect color to go with my new *X*plosion Bobbes Jeans in normal (blue) (360L) .  My BUID boots are also new and are from BUID Tattoo (280L).  I've accessorized with the Pieces Belt from Pepper which is available at The Black Market (40L) and the Crosses Necklace from [glow] studio which is available for 69L at The Dressing Room Blue.  The Keri Hoops earrings in black and silver  from RYCA set off the look perfectly (150L).  This gorgeous hair is a new release from CATWA and is called Yara V1 with Roots in Ash Blondy (250L) and my skin is Sally in Sunkissed from Al Vulo (800L).
